I follow Maria on Instagram because she keeps me updated on all things Outlander, and I’m obsessed with the Outlander books by Diana Gabaldon and the show. Maria loves Scotland, so I asked if she’d read and review my novel. I was over the moon when she invited me to be a guest on her regular Friday night Happy Hour Chat. She interrupted her usual Outlander topic to chat about my novel, and I couldn’t have been more honored or nervous.
This was a first for me. I was so nervous I couldn’t eat dinner. But I made a chai tea and sat down to chat with Maria. Before I knew it, I had relaxed into the conversation. I honestly didn’t think I could fill an hour and a half chatting about Man in the Mist, but Maria proved it to be easy.
